People on a Bridge

Everybody Said Yes

It was a wonderful wedding: great food, wonderful dancing, all the works. I am falling on my face (dancing hard for a long while will do it to ya...). The youngins drank a sea of booze and were getting a bit "stoopid" at the end; I felt very old all of the sudden...

Check out the extra photo - we rented a golf cart thingy and zoomed around the island in the morning. We spent a fair amount of time on the beach. It was very quirky; filled with people who looked like they got stuck in Key West in the sixties, while they were trying to run away from the impeding seventies: chubby middles, leathery, sun-burnt skins, cigarettes and beer first thing in the morning, while reading their proper paper copies of Jack Kerouac (none of this kindle nonsense). This guy on the bike struck me as a good metaphor for this.

The storm is coming. Maybe he can out-ride it?
