Another Beautiful Morning
Steve came over to play Carcassonne. I won both games by way too much. We prefer close games. Our skills are close so games like today's are won and lost by luck. It is more fun when we test our strategies rather than our fortunes.
In the afternoon Arv and I went to Helena's and the three of us walked to the Mt Baker Theater to hear the Whatcom Symphony. They played a piece that I quite liked that the orchestra commissioned to celebrate their 40th anniversary. My favorite piece on the program was a double concerto by Max Bruch for viola and clarinet. Lovely piece. The last was excerpts from Romeo and Juliet by Prokofiev.
After we went to La Fiama for yummy pizza. Nice day.
