Still blooming!

In the very cold morning before church, I was pleased to find these hebe were still blooming. I did a walk round the block to get some fresh air, and the gardens mostly looked bare and uninteresting - which is usual for this time of year, obviously. So a splash of colour was nice to see.

I had a friend round for the day, and we sat and did our tapestries together and watched television. I am doing a small tapestry of a lighthouse scene this time, but have totally changed the colour scheme. I shall be open to changing parts of it again if they don't work :-)
