Christmas shopping, Bearsted Farmers Market

A leisurely morning after a builder came around to have a look at our flat roofs prior to providing a quote to replace them. Went through the pain barrier to walk to Bearsted Farmers Market on the village green to see what we could pick up for Christmas presents. Some fudge, honey and candles were purchased.

Was able to continue walking from the green into Mote Park and around the lake. A lovely day, sparkling sunshine and blue skies, so different to yesterday.

The leisurely theme continued in the afternoon. Susan had prepared a beef and stout casserole in the morning which had been simmering in the slow cooker since 11.00am so there wasn't much to do for the evening meal.
