Recognition of continuous membership of LIMRA

Kind of out of place for me to be included in this photo representing my company. But not a bad feeling to do so! lol

Our company has consecutively been a member of LIMRA (Life Insurance Marketing and Research Association) since 1955. There are 1800 members in this association however only 51 that has been a member for more than 25 years without withdrawing during the period (which are called platinum members).

Therefor, managing directors from Tokyo & Singapore came over to visit us to present a plague to show respect to our continuous membership & the recognition of our contribution to LIMRA.

Why me here? Well... my department (International Business Management Dept) is one the main contacts within the company for foreign entities. You know, not many people in the industry can speak good English to communicate with foreigners. So I'm just lucky representing the company just because I can speak English.

Good rest tomorrow (a Saturday) before heading back to work the day after (a Sunday). It's becoming ordinary life (like a Japanese worker), but hopefully I'll get to have some more time to spend on leisure in the near future.
