Humedal La Vega has new name

The La Vega Humedal is now to be known as the Reserva Natural Urbana Cotesma.   'Urbana', because it is no longer on the edge of the expanding town of San Martín de los Andes but well within the urban limits. Wherever it is situated it's a fine place to go sit and watch birds, especially water fowl. They are in the process of constructing observation platforms, which will be very welcome by the town's bird watchers.
