Irish Countrywomen's Association Institute for Contemporary Arts in Boston, where there is a brilliant exhibition on Black Mountain College, the home of post-war modernism. And then...to the Public Library for a beautiful exhibition packed with stunning maps of the US during the Revolutionary War.  Oh, and I gave a paper this morning. I suppose that was the whole point of the trip.
