The cycle of nature

A forlorn leaf from a wind-torn rhubarb plant, now covered by the first frost of winter, marks the changing season. Some parts of the UK have already experienced the first frosts, but this is definitively the first of the season in my part of the country. The wind has calmed now, but a couple of days ago it was quite lively, and coming at us straight from the Arctic.
The Extra is a 'gentle reminder' to dog owners about 'care of the environment'; seen on an external wall of the local forest visitor centre.
