Yellow Feet

This fishing egret with his bright yellow feet and his feathered whiteness were a special joy to me toward the end of a long dreary walk when the sun refused to brighten the day. Reaching the end of the beach, I saw him fly up: a wondrous flash of whiteness with his yellow feet trailing. Camera up, and effort made, but the flying bird would not be the chosen image for this belated blip. Instead I give you the patient bird who stands endlessly still for the possible flash of a tasty fish. Also for the quiet click of my little Sony camera...
