Lift off

The morning was spectacular. Clear blue sky, sunshine, snow and seaplane.

Where we were staying had 2 seaplanes for hiring. Today was a wonderful opportunity to see Loch Lomond and the surrounding area. We did not sign up - it was rather expensive though no more so than, for example, climbing up Sydney Harbour bridge.

Nevertheless the plane was full and it was great to see it taxiing and taking off. And heading off into the wide blue yonder.
