Testing the pattern

After a series of leaves and plant bits, here comes a weekend of outright domestic stuff.

I have been meaning to make myself a crochet hat for a while, but I hadnt touched a crochet for over 10 years, so I figured I would do an old border pattern for a bit, to see if I could remember how to do it, and do it regularly enough to make a hat that is wearable.

I guess I can try :D
