Caterpillar

I'm sure that somebody will be able to tell me what type of caterpillar this is.  I also have no idea what the droplet is.  I was trying to get a hover fly but it would not stay still enough.  Today was warm  again.

Just a sad update. My mother in law who is in a coma,following a stroke now has pneumonia.  She is now on morphine all other treatment has been stopped.  I  will tell you all about her soon.  She was a fantstic lady.
