The shortcut

The only benefit of Insto's "short cut" from Broughton Street to The Cafe Royal on Saturday was that we meandered through the decaying St James Square. I can't recall ever walking through before. So today, after running an errand, I wandered back to capture the moment just before The St. James Centre transforms itself into the creatively entitled Edinburgh St James. Apparently it will "create a vibrant and exciting place to live, visit and shop". Can't wait.
