THE GOOSANDER?

Grey and cold morning on the canal. I saw four of these birds, and am not sure what they are, but think they are Goosanders. Some sun in between the showers and quite cold. Spent the afternoon grooming my friend's cairn terrier for a show in a fortnight.
Hope someone knows if I am right about the bird.
