Feed us!!
They had already been fed but as I passed doing another chore they came over to see if I would give them anymore!! A day of catching up on jobs that have been neglected while I have been working elsewhere. First job at 6 am was to tidy the house as it was driving me insane! Once it was light fed the animals and walked the dogs. Then took husband to the doctors as his knee in which he has had reconstructive ligament surgery on has been giving him a lot of pain recently. Doctor thinks its good and stable but has referred him to the physiotherapist and orthopaedic surgeon just to be sure. He has been given some mid range pain killers to see if they help with the pain. Both husband and I are a bit happier after that, it had been weighing on both our minds. He's been laid up all weekend with it and its such a worry. Once back from the appointment I spent some time walking Callum and Hamish around and giving them a brush a well as mucking out their pen. Moved Lucky the Shetland tup and his two ewes from the self catering cottage gardens into the dog paddock. They are doing a good job of tidying up the grass. Need some good heavy rain to clean up their leavings for the cottage folk coming in at the end of December but I'm pretty sure I can guarantee plenty of rain before then! Lucky only has two ewes as we are just checking that he works as he will have a large number next year to tup. Good to get all the little jobs done.
I took the horses rugs off sunday morning and they only just came home this morning so put them back on. They cant have been bothered in the torrential rain yesterday, they were way up the hill beyond the hill park.
