Chalton Windmill

I took a friend from Clanfield to visit our mutual friends (who are both very ill, unfortunately) in Drayton this morning.  I stopped by the A3 to take this photo, through the gap in the hedge!
This brick tower windmill overlooks the A3 and the village of Clanfield and has, apparently, been recorded since 1289!!  It is now part of a private house and no longer has it's sails but it makes an impressive sight as you travel past.
