Rhododendron

This was carried into my office today by my gardener friend. He has brought me lots of smaller pots of hollies, peony trees, beech trees, bulbs and other smaller shrubs, but this was the biggest. He grew it from seed and has to move soon, so is donating some of his plants to my 'need to be filled' large garden.

My conundrum is that I would like to give him a Christmas present as a Thank you for all my plants; but my friend is single, lives alone in rented accommodation and has a drink problem. so suggestions welcomed!
