A busy day

A very busy day mainly taken up with organising tonights session at Brownies and sending emails.
There was a nice break in the day when we went to the Point. David needed a photo of the information board for part of another project he's working on.
A rainbow reached down to Hillockhead, a dolphin was bow riding the out going tanker, turnstones hunted among the seaweed and blackbirds and a fieldfare were eating the orange berries on the bushes.
We had a Harry Potter theme at Brownies to tie in with Book week. We had a mini sleepover so they all bought in a bag packed with what they needed, including a mug for hot chocolate , cuddly toy and their favourite book. The tables were laid out in a row like in Hogwarts Grand Hall and they all sat round in their Harry Potter outfits or uniform reading their books.
We borrowed a trolley from the CO OP and everyone had a go at pushing it through the wall on 'Platform 9 3/4 ' , nobody managed to ! A game of Quidditch followed, not an easy task when you have trouble getting the broom the right way round :)
Hot chocolate with Marshmellows and squirty cream next, then into PJ's and a listen to the First Chapter of Harry Potter on the iPad.
Next week we're having a 'lesson' about Lotions and Potions ' , should be fun , especially when the 'big' girls are organising it and one of their Mums is a Science Technician :)
