Where socialist statues go to rest...

On thing that struck me about Bulgaria today Is how the architecture in May of the parks and squares has changed. No longer are there huge statues to socialist heroes.. But instead modern art. Today we ventured to the 'Socialist art museum' which was very much off the beaten track, and hidden between some tower blocks and a new office complex., and through a barrier with a guard. We were the only visitors there. I tried to capture the statues without buildings behind, but in the end thought it added to the incongruity....
