Hillwalking

The weather forecast was a bit mixed, but we were lucky, we only had one shower after lunch.   We started at Tarbet at Loch Lomond, and walked over the hill above Loch Long to Rhu near Helensburgh.  It was a great walk, very undulating, and a great rocky path.  We also had rather an exciting river crossing; there was a bridge but to access it you had to climb over a fence and some large water pipes which also used the bridge...... it was fun.......

Finishing our hillwalk, we changed out of our walking gear and headed to the Ardencaple Hotel in Rhu for some refreshments before travelling home.

We were so lucky; the views were stunning and the sun came out, and the rain stayed away.
