Tribute

This is the tribute to Teddy Scott, left outside Pittodrie.
Teddy Scott retired from Football 9 years ago, after 49 years of involvement with the club, starting as a player, then trainer (remember that archaic position?) and ending up as kit man. As he fulfilled that latter job, loads of younsters, many of whom went on to become household names, used to go into his room for a chat and advice.
On his retirement, the club held a testimonial match for him against Manchester United, and Sir Alex took up, and played his full first team sqaud, Beckham, Schmichael et al.
ABerdeen won on penalties.
His funeral was on Wednesday past, and was attended by Sir ALex, Alex McLeish,Craig Brown and many other ex and current players, including John Hewitt, who scored the winning goal against Real Madrid to win the Cup Winners Cup.
Not many British teams have beaten them, and we are the ony Scottish team to do so.
