The Minister and the Chair

We had a visit this morning from the Minister for Children and Young People - Aileen Campbell MSP - to meet the Board and some of the senior team.

A good meeting discussing a range of issues facing the children's hearings system and how we might best support the volunteers in the system, whether panel members or volunteers in the Area Support Teams.

As ever resources remain an issue and tomorrow's events in Westminster will start to unlock decisions about what may or may not be available over the coming years.

Today also provided an opportunity to review the past 12 - 18 months and take stock of where we have reached.
