Major Headwind

Big wind storm in our area today -- 50+ mph.  The bay was nothing but whitecaps and very cold. I keep expecting the power to go out but so far, so good.  There's a lot of window rattling and noise but the peanut tree in front of my place is still standing at its lopsided angle.  I call it the peanut tree because it's generally full of squirrels and has a big hole in the trunk where I put a scoop of peanuts every morning.  I love the sound of the wind and the wind itself.  I don't love the damage it can do, but short of that,windy days are my favorite.
