Making Copper
Have worked in Copper Smelters for many years and yet am still fascinated by the process to make copper. This photo is of molten copper kept flowing by the heat and flame from burners as it travels down launders and then is poured into a mould shape called an anode on a big rotating wheel called a casting wheel. Is mesmerizing to watch. Looks somewhat like a controlled chaos.
