She's Gone

Elaine Hagerty, whose town home is attached to mine, passed away today.  She was 86.

I think most of what I would say about her I said yesterday.  I am grateful that I was able to see my friend before she died.  It will take me months to wrap my head around the fact that she won't be ringing my bell and walking through my door again.

I will miss her.
