Love it or hate it

Some of you will be boycotting Starbucks because perhaps i) they dont pay enough tax, ii) only 8% of their coffee is Fairtrade, iii) they are not allowed to say Merry Christmas to customers, iv) they sell unhealthy food v) you dont like their coffee ..............

When I worked in Canary Wharf,  I confess I bought a grande skinny latte every day because it was next to the office and it tastes better han the office machine.  Now I work in Tonbridge one day a week and there is a Starbucks very close by.     I can still buy a grande skinny latte which I drink from my Starbucks reusable cup and pay with the Starbucks app on my phone.
They are a bit funny about you taking photos in the shop because of the bad press but as I am a regular - they said - go ahead. They are pretty sure I am not a journalist.
In a past life I spent a lot of time making sure my employer paid the right amount of tax and did think about boycotting Starbucks because of their exploitation of  the tax rules.   But sorry, old habits die hard.
