Flying the Flags

Seems appropriate, with visitors here from the States, to post a shot of Stars and Stripes, Saltire, Rampant Lion and, er, Australian flags.

Forced to follow a very indirect route, caused by Road Closed detours, we went by car up into Embra again this morning to see some more touristy sights. After coffee at the Elephant House, expecting to spot JK Rowling, we headed for the Royal Mile and got caught up in the start of the Pride Scotia celebrations.

A few tacky tartan shops later, I safely dropped them off at Waverly to catch the train to Stirling to enjoy their last few rainy days.
