Look what we found

I came home yesterday and almost before we had got out of the car, Dirk - who had stayed at home - was beckoning me over. Look, look.....

And there in a bowl was this little man, with plenty of grass to keep him going, waiting for us to come and see him.

Not entirely sure what Alex made of him, but he was rather interested. Soon as we'd had a nice look, Dirk took him out into the bush far away from everyone and everything, especially the staff, who apparently like to eat them.... Not so impressed with that.
