4yo had been so impressed by Meadow Foal that she wanted to go and see it for herself, so after dropping 7yo at gym club we walked round to see the herd.

While there were plenty of cuter moments, it's not often that I see one of the large beasts rolling on its back, so that's my blip. For some reason this reminded me of that scene from Gregory's Girl.

As if that weren't enough, Spitfire PS 515 from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight chose that moment to fly over and perform a mini series of banks and rolls over Baildon Moor. We weren't quite in the best place to catch it, but I managed a couple of pictures.

We still had time to walk to the playground and negotiate a thunderstorm before returning to pick up 7yo. Ninety minutes well spent.
