Jack of all trades.....

Dry and sunny for a while. Brought in another batch of cows and calves,vaccinated clipped and run along the road into the shed by lunch time.
The piano tuner came to give his opinion on our piano. Little Miss is getting lessons at school but our one is so out of tune she can't practice.
The expert opinion was- not worth taking time to tune. Reckons it was build around 1870,but the tuning keys wont stay tight, strings are dodgy plus some of the keys are missing their ivory. He suggested we put it on Gumtree or freecycle. So if anyone wants an antique piano to sit some plant pots on....
Tonight's job was to replace 2 drinking bowls in 2 cattle sheds. They aren't made to last these days,but they are a pain to replace as the nuts and bolts are usually knackered. Managed without too much skin loss !
