Statues

These statues decorate the top of a historic building here in Gent. I've always liked the look of them and today I finally managed to take a photo of them. I tried to avoid the cables for the trams that run past the building as much as possible but it was impossible to succeed completely.

Work today was very busy as usual. Afterwards, I had to stop at the post office, not only to send off something but also to pick up a parcel. While I was waiting for the next bus home, I got the camera out of my bag to take this photo and I'd only just done that when it started to rain quite heavily.
