On the train

Kings Cross Station. What an inspired fusion of old railway building and soaring modern structure. I love its bold ambition. I was there today on route to North Yorkshire, for an event with Suzuki based at Yarm, and involving a morning tomorrow at Croft racing circuit.

Unusually I decided to let the train take the strain for the trip. It may not be something I repeat in a hurry, because it was a bit of a tortuous trip involving three trains, one tube, one bus and a final short hop in a car. But at least it let me enjoy this glorious station.
