Single rose & bee

This lovely single rose was given to me by my aunt when we built our house about 20 + years ago. It usually only has a couple of flowers, but this year is in full bloom.
Took the dogs for a short walk after PJ left with 2 others from the Sounds. They are going out to do Fire duty on the big fire just outside Blenheim. Hopefully the wind doesn't get too bad there for them all. Not a good start to the summer!!
