Beside the Still Waters....

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all my Blip friends who have written such caring messages about the loss of our lovely dog Fergus. You all make our world such a better place for us at this time. Fergus had made so many lovely human and doggy friends here in Marlborough.... He will be missed by many.
I made a trip to the Taylor Dam this evening. It is very healing being being beside the still water. There is a slight haze in the air in this part of Marlborough. This is due to smoke from a large forest fire in the Waikakaho Valley to the north of Blenheim. Our thoughts are with the fire-fighters. helicopter pilots, land owners, stock and householders in that area. Please may the winds drop and rain fall to ameliorate this drastic situation here in Marlborough.
