Methodist Church, Union Street

I've lived in Maidstone since 1976, walked past this Church may be 1000s of times and never been in. Well, I had the chance today as the Church is the new location for the combined charities chistmas card shop. It used to be in the Baptist (?) Church near Market Buildings for many years but has now moved to this building.

We had a good long walk into town, for a coffee, to purchase supplies for upcoming meals and for shelf brackets to try and fashion some more shelf space in the garage to make room for the impending arrival of a freezer. Not an impulse purchase this, we've been on about it for years. Finally took the plunge and it's being delivered on Monday. Another sort, tidy and rearrangement of the garage will need to take place.

Spent the afternoon working on a report of our visit the other day and that's about it. Sausage casserole with olives and mushrooms (without the mushrooms as they'd been hanging around too long and had gone off).
