Haweswater

I've been spending several days working on some technical stuff on the computer so I decided I would give myself half a day off. Today's forecast was the best for the week so The Man and I popped up to Haweswater.

I've blipped from this location many times but this is taken from a slightly different angle as I was here without students and was able to drop down a bit from our usual viewpoint. Got out of the breeze, too!

We actually believe we saw the golden eagle this time, our fist false alarm was probably a buzzard but the second bird was rising from where the eagle lives. First sighting for me!

Picnic lunch eaten by the lake and then back to the computer!
