Gadwall
Enjoyed a splendid afternoon with lozarithm at the Shapwick Heath and Ham Walls reserves on the Somerset Levels . We both tried - and failed - to take decent picture of passing marsh harriers, great white egrets etc. Some of my efforts are on Flickr but not really up to blipfoto standard. I'm quite pleased with this one of a male gadwall having a drink in front of the Meare Heath hide. It was some distance from the hide on full zoom - it's not a perfect shot by any means but I can see far more detail in the picture than I could at the time through binoculars.
