Big Minch Swim

These eight folks have just completed a swim from Ullapool to Stornoway, a distance of some 45 miles, within 34 hours. They encountered interesting marine wildlife, including seals, dolphins, porpoises, a whale and a pod of killer whales. The sea was freezing, so they took it in relay, swimming between 20 and 45 minutes at a stretch.

The endeavour was to support the RNLI and donations are still welcome on this link. At the time of posting, they have collected more than £13,000.
