32 Pounder on a Naval Carriage

Went to Venlo this morning and as the weather was so good went on to Arcen for a walk along the Maas. This little town is so clean and nice, This is the only bit of the old town walls, there used to be a lot more but in WW2  the Yanks pounded the town to bits, even though there were no signs of an active defence,The Germans had gone over the Border into Germany a few days earlier, also it seemed no one told them they were still in Holland and the Dutch were the Good Guys.. Friendly Fire again. Anyway the cannon doesn't really belong there, but looks good! They were originally put in the Tower to persuade passing ships to pay a Toll, whicj most of them did!
