Much excitement

We've had a new visitor on the niger feeder today. I don't think I've ever seen a Lesser Redpoll before and had to whip out my BTO Garden Birds and Wildlife book to find out what it was.

I dare say that they are as common as muck in some parts of the country but definitely a first for here. I love it when that happens :)

Another day of ups and downs, struggling to keep Ma in her clothes and getting her to eat. But certainly not as bad as some days. I've neglected the blog a bit recently but added a couple of updates this week if you want to know how we're getting on.

There will also be a Roy blip today :)
