Thanksgiving Day-2015
Dear Diary,
Well, we are all totally stuffed! So is Gaylord (extra picture, I couldn't resist!). You would think it was freezing out there but it was 50 F so that puffy look is all his winter fat! He doesn't have a neck any more! Neither do we. Phew! I am taking a break to post this and then later on we will have "the pie"!
Brad and Elaine added their ancestor stones to our "rock pile" at the end of the table in a place of honor. There may have been only 3 of us eating but there was 18 ancestors as well! Crowded table and lots of memories. A great dinner all around.
They will be leaving late in the afternoon tomorrow so I will be packing two turkey dinners to go for them. They have to spend the night at the airport because they have a 6am flight home on Saturday. I will hate to see them go but they hope to make this an annual tradition...Thanksgiving in Maine!
