Rosewall Hill
Just five minutes from St.Ives on the Zennor road lies Rosewall Hill. The road passes a small lay-by that 99% of people probably ignore without giving a seconds thought. That's a shame because the walk up Rosewall's paths is a fine one and the views from the top are amongst Cornwall's finest. Once the site of extensive tin mining, the few remaining chimneys and enclosures have long ago melded into the landscape. It's amazing how given time nature will reclaim, renew and rebuild; given Cornwall's industrial heritage, Rosewall Hill stands testament to the patience and healing power of nature.
