Bird feeder

Walked round the business park as far as the 'pet warehouse' this lunchtime, and bought a super-duper bird feeder to put on the wall of the courtyard. (Couldn't wait to show you, so it's 'decorating' the chest in the spare room in the blip!)

The courtyard looks rather different from the last time I posted it, full of junk. There are lots of containers in it now, a few with plants we brought with us from Allanton. Most are full of compost - spent several hours this evening filling them (by the light of MrM's big work lamps which he kindly rigged up outside). Incredibly mild again - 12deg when I finally came indoors at 10.00pm.

Some plants arrived today, and the bulbs are ready and waiting - hoping to do lots of planting at the weekend. Bare-root roses should arrive next month...
