Preserving Memories

I have thought for some time that I ought to try and preserve some old home videos and convert them to digital files before the tapes became unplayable (or the tape player completely failed).  So recently I purchased a little device which connects the tape player to my computer and allows me to make files which can be played on the computer or burned to DVD.  

It seems to be working, and I have had a great deal of amusement looking at old family videos which I haven't watched for years.  A worthwhile investment, I think.
