Thanksgiving

Today we celebrated Thanksgiving at the home of very good friends.  A wonderful boisterous gathering - with  food, laughs and good  conversation.  
I am so thankful for my family, friends,  and the bounty of our lives.  Wishing good and peace to all.  
Although Thanksgiving here has taken on so many meanings to so many people, I love the idea that it is celebrated in some way by so many all over America.  The menu is traditional and yet each person brings their own inherited tradition to the feast.  The melting pot of America.  May we continue to keep melting together.
