Quarter past one o'clock on Market Square-how times have changed. When I was a slip of a lad, this part of the market would be so packed that you would have to hold onto your parents for grim death. Such would be the swell of the crowd that if you were not connected to the guardians, you would be swept off in the eddy of the prevailing throng.
