Scummy Mountains in the Distance

The damp and cold is back again, such a contrast to yesterday's weather. It's supposed to turn to heavy rain this afternoon so I took the little Bedford 10/12 Cwt Van out for a spin before it gets worse. This was taken on the edge of the reservoir with scummy foam looking like mountains in the distance. I played around in the Photoshop app using the Autumn filter to get these colours.
On the way back up the track I saw quite a few goldcrests and tits, they were far too fast for me flitting around the bushes. I didn't see any squirrels at all. Do you think they know it's squirrel blip Friday and didn't want to come out to play? ;-)
