Today's call

I had a house call to a remote part of the fen today, where reputedly the locals have webbed feet (it's not true - none of us are afraid to wear sandals!)  You know you are being watched, your presence is noted and probably talked about for a few days to come.  They won't be gossiping to the immediate neighbours though as there aren't any!
