2 old friends retire in June

"Doe" started before I did took a leave of absence to work outside and retired 28 days after I did from the VA. I retired 6/01/12 and she retired 6/29/12. There were 5 other people who retired the week I did from SDVAMC. Through out the nation and especially in San Diego there are a lot of VA employees retiring before it gets any worst.
In San Diego there are a lot of employees who have been working there since 1971. Hopefully there will be job openings for the unemployed, but with federal cut backs who knows.
