Crumpets

I've always liked crumpets, though I never succeeded in making them, so GIANT crumpets have to be good, don't they?

Crumpets mean butter (not that one molecule away from plastic stuff which is claimed to reduce cholesterol) so today being a 'veggie' day I thought I could get away with them if incorporated into the evening meal. Poached eggs on top, a bit of salad and sauteed mushrooms (garlic'd and - don't tell the doc - with cream) should make for a tasty dish I think.

I was introduced to the GIANT crumpets by a blipper, so if I'm in trouble I'll lay the blame on her. She knows who she is!
